This 6 day journey via Uganda’s most prominent parks will allow you to experience some rare creatures of Africa, such as the Mountain Gorillas, the Chimpanzees and the five great Africans such as Lions, African Elephants, Cape Buffaloes, Rhinopars and Leopards.

These will be paired in both nations with beautiful landscapes, culture and historic meetings.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1Arrival and collection

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport in this lovely country and you are greeted at the airport by our driver guide.

Be informed about the safaris and drive to the hotel to rest while you wait for this epic, gorgeous country’s intriguing, waiting experiences. Depending on the arrival time, you can embark on a Kampala city tour.

Day 2Transfer to Bwindi

Spend this whole day transferring to Bwindi – the Gorilla land.

You will cool up and travel to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You drive through the rugged South Uganda terrain after passing through the equator and making a cultural stopover in Igongo.

With more than three quarters of the world’s population, Bwindi is the world’s leading gorilla trekking destination. You check in for supper and stay at your lodge on arrival.

Day 3Gorilla trekking in Bwindi

Have an early breakfast and start out at the park visitor center for a gorilla trekking briefing.

The maximum number of visitors per day to a family of gorillas is eight individuals.

Bwindi’s impenetrable national park Gorilla trek leads to the tropical jungle and walks via unclear cemented roads through treacherous roads.

Take a wonderful hour before these gigantic apes, as they live a regular everyday life.

There’s just nothing exciting to watch in his fiery eyes a silverback. The path back to the headquarters and the lodging after an hour’s walk.

After the encounter, you return to the starting point and transfer to Lake Bunyony for an evening boat ride and relaxation.

Day 4Transfer to the National Park of Queen Elizabeth (Ishasha game drive)

You will travel to the famed Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ishasha area that is noted for its tree climbing lions after enjoying an early morning meal at the lodge.

You go on the drive of the game to observe tree lions climbing in Ishasha.

You’ll be surprised to find them relaxing with other wild creatures and stunning flora covering and scenery on the branches of fig trees around afternoon.

Lunch is on your way as you travel to the northern portion of the park, arrive in the evening to check in, supper and sleep.

Day 5Morning wildlife drive and Kazinga Channel boat trip afternoon

Early breakfast is provided, and then you will travel into the park for the morning game.

In just a couple of minutes from the drive on game drives, you will see several animal species here.

The views across the countryside with many craters and crater lakes are amazing.

Take advantage to see some of the famed big five on the Kasenyi plains such as Buffalos, Elephants, Lions, and other creatures like as Warthogs, Bush bucks, Kobs, Hyenas, and Topis.

After lunch the afternoon will take you to Kazinga channel for a launch cruise.

The high levels of elephants, hippos, buffalos and crocodiles are appreciated. The most important concentrations of hippos in the world will be seen.

There will also be several bird species, like the Great Pelicans that dwell on the 40 km long and 8 meter deep banks of the Edward and George Lakes waterway.

Day 6Tracking chimpanzees in the woodland of Kalinzu/Kyambura and transfer to Fort Portal

Go to Kalinzu Forest for Chimpanzees, tracking to meet the nearest cousins of man in the wild in an early morning meal.

Forest of Kalinzu is close to Queen Elizabeth National Park savannas.

You’ll be surprised to watch these primates playing, swinging on the limbs of the trees, fighting for food etc.

We shall next start our picturesque drive to Fort Portal, Uganda’s tourist town across the magnificent grounds of the undulating hills with their terraced land.

There may be stops at sites of interest for photography.

Day 7Transfer to Murchison falls National Park

Wake up for breakfast early in the morning and transfer to the National Park Murchison.

The Grand Rift Valley offers glimpses of the amazing nature of the countryside and the far distance from Uganda.

Lunch’s going to be on the way.

Day 8Drive for the match and boat trip for the afternoon

The driver guide takes you up for the early game drive after your morning breakfast.

Explore some of the most important wildlife routes on the northern bank, including several Elephants, Lions, Giraffen, Antelopes, Jackals, Hyenas, Uganda Kobs, Waterbucks and Jackson’s hardbeests.

Later, have your lunch break and rest for a little while endlessly.

We start out for our boat trip on the Victoria Nile in the afternoon, the high point of any Murchison Falls Safari, when many animals will be spotted in close contact.

A lot of hippos, Nile crocodiles, Elephants, Buffaloes, and many other creatures have to be found drinking water, soak up and cool off the sun and some animal to eat the fresh grass along the banks of the river.

Day 9Return to Kampala via Ziwa with a break for tracking Rhino

You will check out and head to Kampala after an early breakfast.

On the route to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, you will stop and reintroduce rhinos in the wild, so that you will have a comprehensive impression of the 5 great African animals as the Rhinos, out of the 5 great ones that are lacking in Murchison Falls National Park.

You’ll journey to the sanctuary on foot for a trip here.

At the sanctuary you will have lunch and then you will continue to Kampala or Entebbe.
