How a request becomes a confirmed booking, and what happens if you need to cancel.

Requests and quotes
Sending a request on this website does not reserve anything. We reply with a written quote that sets out the itinerary, what is included and excluded, and the total price.
Confirming a booking
Your booking is confirmed after you accept the quote and pay a deposit of 25% of the total safari cost. We will tell you clearly, by email and on your booking page, when your booking is confirmed.
Permits
Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are issued by the national wildlife authorities and are usually non-refundable once bought. Your quote explains how permit costs are handled if you cancel.
Cancellations
To cancel, use the link on your booking page or email info@mishayasafaris.com. Your booking stays active until we confirm the cancellation in writing.
The refund that applies depends on how close to the start date you cancel. Until an updated schedule is published on this page, the cancellation terms stated in your written quote apply.
Changes
We will try to accommodate changes to dates or itineraries, subject to availability. If we have to change a confirmed booking, we will tell you as soon as possible and explain your options.
