Day by day
Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru
Leave your hotel at 7:30 for the three-hour drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a shallow alkaline lake among woodland and grassland, home to flamingos, buffalo, lions, zebras and giraffes. Lunch at the lodge, a short rest, then an evening game drive.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to the Masai Mara
After breakfast, drive to the Masai Mara in time for lunch. In the afternoon, a game drive looking for lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, rhinos and plains game.

Day 3: A full day in the Masai Mara
A day of game viewing across the grassland and rolling hills, known for its great herds. You can add an optional visit to a Masai village.

Day 4: Back to Nairobi
