Dates and availability

Permits and preparation
Permits
The Uganda Wildlife Authority releases a limited number of gorilla permits per day and per sector, first come, first served. Slow decisions can mean missing out. We always work to secure yours; sometimes that means moving a trekking date within the trip or changing sector, without changing the length of your tour.
Age
This itinerary is planned for travelers aged 15 and over.
